Silat
Martial
Silat is a famous Malay martial art in Malaysia and also in Indonesia. Usually, there will be two opponents who perform their skills with or without using Keris accompanied by the music of traditional instruments . Silat has different versions such as Silat Gayong, Silat Pulut, Silat Bunga Melayu and many more. Besides for self-defense, Silat also will be performed during special occasions such as a wedding for Malays. Songket & Batik

Songket is one of Terengganu’s popular cloth whose weavers are the best in the country. Songket can consider a luxury textile because of the gold and silver borcade that weaved on the silk base of the Songket. Usually, men and women will wear the Songket for special events or occasions. The price of Songket quite expensive because of the material used to weaving it and the designs of itself.
Batik also one of the popular cloth in Terengganu. Local people will draw the design that inspired by nature with traditional elements. Terengganu and Kelantan are the biggest producer of batik. Batik can wear not only for special occasions instead for daily wear for men and women.
